Overview
Nepal’s major tourist activities include wilderness and adventure activities such as mountain biking, bungee jumping, rock climbing and mountain climbing, trekking, hiking, bird watching, mountain flights, ultralight aircraft flights, paragliding and hot air ballooning over the mountains of the Himalaya, hiking and mountain biking, exploring the waterways by raft, kayak or canoe and jungle safaris especially in the Terai region.
Nepal is a multi-religious society. The major religion in Nepal is Hinduism, and the Pashupatinath Temple, which is the world’s one of the main Hindu religious sites is located in Kathmandu, attracts many pilgrims and tourists. Other Hindu pilgrimage sites include the temple complex in Swargadwari located in the Pyuthan district, Lake Gosainkunda near Dhunche, the temples at Devghat, Manakamana temple in the Gorkha District, and Pathibhara near Phungling, Mahamrityunjaya Shivasan Nepal in Palpa District where biggest metallic idol of Lord Shiva is located.

Tour Plan
Kathmandu Arrival.
Your Arrival Time: (?) Our representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to
your hotel.
At. 06:00 PM: A short briefing about your tour program by us at the hotel. If you are arriving late (after
4:00 PM) then we will have a briefing next morning at 09:00 AM. If there is any payment due, then it will be
collected during the briefing time.
Meals: Dinner Included.
Kathmandu Sightseeing. (Full Day)
At. 10:00 AM: After your breakfast, you will visit for a full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath temple,
Boudhanath stupa, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Once you complete your
sightseeing, we will drop you back to your hotel.
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Included.
Pashupatinath temple is the largest and holiest shrines for Hindus.This temple, situated on the bank of
Bagmati river was built in the 5th century There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord
Shiva) and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore. No entrance fee is charged for SAARC nationals to
enter the temple. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple
and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.
Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. It is the center hub of Buddhism in Nepal which is
surrounded by hundreds of monasteries. Lichchavi rulers renovated the staple during the 8th century, which
was made in the shape of a Mandala.
Swayambhunath is one of the most glorious, holiest and oldest Stupa in the world. It is Located on a small
hillock in west Kathmandu hence commands an excellent view of the valley. The stupa was built in 460 A.D.
by King Manadeva, is also known by the name "Monkey Temple".
Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley. The Malla king
Pratap Malla erected the statue of Hanuman (the Hindu god of power) in this place and it was named
Hanuman Dhoka. Taleju Temple, Tribhuvan Museum, the house of Kumari (Living Goddess), Kasthamandap,
the temple of Kal Bhairav along with few other temples are some places to explore.
Drive to Pokhara. (210 KM)
Optional Activity: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:30 AM from Kathmandu airport to Kathmandu airport, a
50 minutes flight which takes you for the aerial view of the Mt. Everest and several other mountains. (INR
8500 Per Person)
At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, start driving to Pokhara (Approx. 6-8 hours of driving). On the way you can
visit the Manakamana temple. Also you can experience river rafting in the Trishuli river.
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Included.
Manakamana Temple, a 10 minutes cable car ride from a station called Kurintar takes you to the temple of
Goddess Manakamana who is believed to have the power to fulfill wishes. Kurintar is 104 km away from
Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Fly to Jomsom, Muktinath Temple Darshan!
At. 06:00 AM: Fly to Jomsom, have your breakfast at the hotel in Jomsom, then drive to Muktinath temple
from there. Complete your Darshan, Puja and Holy bath over there, drive back to Jomsom. O/N stay in
Jomsom.
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Included.
Important Note: It takes a maximum 1 hour of driving to reach Muktinath temple from Jomsom. After
getting off the jeep, you have to walk up for 30 minutes to reach the temple from Jeep park. You can hire a
pony on your own which costs INR 500 for a two way ride. After visiting the temple, complete your Darshan
and Pooja, drive back to Jomsom for your night stay. If you have time, you may visit the Mustang Eco
Museum. Located near to the airport this museum houses ancient objects and manuscripts relating to
Tibetan culture, herbs, and medicine.
Muktinath Temple is believed to be a place where Lord Vishnu got salvation from Brinda (wife of
Jalandhar). The main shrine is a pagoda shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that one
washes away all the pain and sins if they take shower in holy water coming from 108 sprouts just behind the
temple. Another major attraction would be two ponds in front of the temple where people take a plunge into.
Apart from these temple sites, one can enjoy the dramatic landscape of the valley surrounded by mountains.
Fly to Pokhara, Pokhara Sightseeing.
At. 06:00 AM: Early in the morning you will fly back to Pokhara, we will transfer you to the hotel, have your
breakfast and get ready for your Pokhara sightseeing..
At. 10:00 AM: After breakfast you will visit for a half day sightseeing of David’s fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev
Cave, Bindabasini Temple and Barahi Temple at Phewa Lake. You can enjoy a boat ride at Phewa Lake
in the evening.

Important Note: The weather condition of Jomsom decides the flight status, if your flight is canceled today,
we will arrange the land transport for you which will be a private Jeep. Jeep cost will be revised as per the
group size. While driving you have to pay a TIMS permit fee (INR 400 Per Person) on the way at the
checkpoint.
Drive back to Nagarkot (240 KM) via Kathmandu.
At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, drive back to Nagarkot via Kathmandu.
At. 05:30 PM: View sunset from your hotel, we hope you will enjoy a peaceful and cool stay in Nagarkot.

Bhaktapur and Patan Sightseeing.
At. 05:30 AM: Early morning view of the sunrise from your hotel.
At. 10:00 AM: After breakfast, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. After
completing the sightseeing, you will have some free time to do shopping around the Thamel area in the
evening.
Meal: Breakfast and Dinner Included.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is also known as Bhadgaon has 4 major squares: Durbar Square,
Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square. Some of the major attractions are Lu Dhoka (The
Golden Gate)” which is said to be the most beautiful and richly molded specimen of its kind in the entire
world, The Palace of 55 windows and Dattatraye Temple along with some other small temples.
Patan Durbar Square is 5 km southeast of Kathmandu. Major temples are Krishna Temple, Taleju Temple
and Bhimsen Temple. Some places to explore there are Patan Museum, Mahaboudha, Kumbeshwor, Keshave
Naryan, Vishwanath & Chyasin Dewal and Sundari Chowk. Banglamukhi is one of the famous temples of Devi
( Goddess ) in Kathmandu. The temple of Baglamukhi is situated in Patan (Lalitpur). There are various other
small temples inside the Baglamukhi temple premises. People visit this temple mainly on Thursdays as it is
considered as the day of Bhagwati.
Transfer to Airport
At. 10:00 AM: After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Kathmandu airport on time to board an outbound
flight. (30 Minutes from your hotel)
